About EmailRank

Helping people choose email with better tradeoffs.

EmailRank is an independent guide to email providers. The goal is not to crown a single universal winner. The goal is to make the tradeoffs clear: privacy vs. convenience, AI vs. encryption, ecosystem integration vs. portability, and simplicity vs. power.

Why this exists

Most email-provider advice online is either too shallow, too affiliate-driven, or too generic. EmailRank is designed to feel more like an interactive editorial tool: clear rankings, visible tradeoffs, side-by-side comparisons, and explanations that help normal users make better decisions.

Editorial philosophy

Rankings are practical editorial assessments. We consider reliability, security, spam filtering, privacy, search, UX, ecosystem, open standards, AI features, custom domains, and value. Different users should weight those categories differently.

Independence matters.

EmailRank should stay useful even when providers disagree with the rankings. The aim is to explain why a provider is strong, where it falls short, and who should actually use it.

Transparent

Each category includes an explanation of what it rewards and why providers rank the way they do.

Practical

The rankings focus on real user needs: spam, privacy, search, mobile usability, domains, cost, and switching friction.

Expandable

EmailRank can grow into deeper reviews, migration guides, provider histories, and richer comparison tools over time.
